At Lambing Flat Records, we don’t charge by the hour or sell piecemeal services, we take on the whole project.

Whether you’re making a single, an EP, or a full-length album, we work on a fixed-cost, deliverable-based model that covers every stage from the first lyric idea to the final release. No upsells. No surprise invoices. Just one agreed scope, one price, and a complete creative journey from start to finish.

Every project is different, so we scale our approach to suit your goals, your budget, and your vision. Some artists come to us with a handful of lyrics and no plan, others with a fully written tracklist and a strong creative direction. Either way, we’ll build a custom project plan that maps out the process, the deliverables, and the timeline before we start. This means you know exactly what you’re getting and when you’ll get it.

Because we handle everything in-house (songwriting support, recording, production, editing, mixing, mastering, visuals, branding, distribution setup, marketing, and post-release support) your project flows seamlessly without the delays and miscommunication that come from working with multiple separate providers. You’ll keep 75% of your rights and royalties, retain full creative control, and work with a single team that’s invested in bringing your vision to life.

Our typical flagship project is a six-month production arc followed by three months of post-release support, but the same model applies no matter the size of the release. We’re here to make the process simple, transparent, and creatively empowering, so you can focus on being an artist while we handle the logistics, strategy, and execution.
